（県北）白神山地ふじさとケツジョリ世界選手権（藤里町）
Shirakami Mountains Fujisato “Ketsujori”(“Hip-sledding”) World Cup（Fujisato Town）

藤里町営スキー場において、「第５回白神山地ふじさとケツジョリ世界選手権」が行われました。選手権は、ＡＬＴ（外国語指導助手）等の海外５カ国から集まった１０名を含む、県内外から集まった選手５３名によって繰り広げられました。
The 5th Annual Shirakami Mountains Fujisato “Ketsujori”(“Hip-sledding”) World Cup was held at the Fujisato Municipal Ski Area. 53 people from in and out of Akita have entered the competition, including 10 ALTs (Assistant Language Teachers) from 5 different countries.
使用するソリは肥料袋です。緊張した面持ちでジャンプ台に立ちスタートしますが、着地点では爆笑の渦に包まれていました。表彰台に上がった選手全てが「来年は優勝できるように頑張りたい」、主催者側も「来年も絶対やりたい」と意気込んでいました。
The sled used under the hips was a fertilizer bag. The participants first stood nervously at the jump board but reached the finish line, surrounded by lots of laughter. The awarded participants said that they want to aim the first place next year. The organizers were also enthusiastic and wish to continue the event next year.
